Hello I'm Natali mom of 3 gorgeous children Thomas (9 years old), and fraternal twins Ethan and Noah (5 years old). My husband Alejandro and I are Venezuelans, we came to the United States in May 2012 when Thomas was 1 year only. I work 8 hours a day, I am a Computer Engineer just like my husband, but in this life there is nothing that we enjoy more than being parents.
When I found out I was pregnant with twins, I google all about this type of pregnancy and then all about how to raise twins, and I actually came across a community of moms who share their day to day experiences and made me feel like I was not alone in this of being a twin mom, that this was more normal than I thought.
When the babies were born, I also realized that Thomas was not as little as I thought, so I proposed to myself to work more on his Spanish, so I search and search on Internet again and the truth is that there is no magic formula to make a child bilingual, the most valuable resources I found were experiences from bilingual moms who manage to do it.
Everything in our life is about them for now and I want to enjoy every stage, every change, every goal achieved. Sharing and documenting these experiences is what motivates me to write on this blog that I hope someone finds it useful someday in their search for experiences similar to ours.
